Obituary Condolences

CARL NYCE Carl M. Nyce, 87, of Telford, entered into eternal life Monday, December 24, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Eva (Bergey) Nyce for 61 years. Carl was born in Hatfield to the late Howard Nyce and the late Mary (Moyer) Nyce. He was employed as a Foreman for Keller's Creamery for 45 years. Carl was an active member of Spring Mount Mennonite Church where he served as a council member, trustee, and served on the outreach and service committees. He was known for his welcoming and encouraging spirit who cared for all people. Carl was a volunteer with Indian Creek Foundation. He cherished his time in his active involvement with his children, grandchildren and his great-granddaughter. Carl will be greatly missed by his family. In addition to his wife, Carl is survived by his son, Steven C. Nyce of Souderton; his two daughters, Sharon Bishop and husband, David of Doylestown, Karen Reichart and husband, Stephen of Telford; his brother, Arnold Nyce and wife, Mary Ellen of Souderton; his three grandsons, Joshua David Bishop of Doylestown, Nathan Stephen Reichart of Telford and Brandon Carl Reichart of Telford; his granddaughter, Nicole Bahnck and husband, Brian of Doylestown; and his great-granddaughter, Anna Kay Bahnck of Doylestown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Lee Nyce, his sister, Lenora Nyce and his two brothers, Lawrence and Paul Nyce. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 30 at 3PM at Salford Mennonite Church, 480 Groff's Mill Road, Harleysville where friends may view and meet with the family from 1PM to 3PM. Burial will follow the service in the adjoining cemetery.
