CHARLES WOLL, JR. Charles J. Woll, Jr., "Sport", 63, of North Wales, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at his home. He was the loving husband of Diane M. Woll for five years. Born January 22, 1950 in Abington, Charlie was the son of Charles Joseph Woll, Sr. of Montgomeryville, and the late Sarah (Harkins) Plequette. Charlie was a graduate of Central Bucks High School. He proudly served our country during the Vietnam War as a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. Charlie was employed for 37 years at Merck & Co. His hobbies included family life, home projects and fishing. Charlie was an extremely generous man. His contributions included Habitat for Humanity and Hurricane Katrina relief effort. In addition, he contributed countless hours of community service to the Hatfield American Legion Post 933, the Wounded Warrior Project and Toys for Tots. In addition to his wife, Charlie leaves behind three children, Heather M. Giordani and her husband, Frank Giordani III, of Collegeville, Christopher J. Woll and his wife, Shanna, of Sellersville and Meghan E. Horstman and her husband, Jeff, of Spring City; seven grandchildren, Julianna, Hailey, Alyvia, Rylie, Caiden, Colten and Taylor; his former wife and friend, Linda L. Woll of Telford; a sister, Sarah "Sally" Schumacher of Barefoot Bay, FL; and two faithful dachshunds, Nathan and Vienna. Friends and relatives may greet the family 10 to 11AM Sept. 23, at St. Maria Goretti Church, 1601 Derstine Rd., Hatfield, where the Memorial Mass will be held at 11AM.
