CLARENCE KRATZ, JR. Clarence K. Kratz, Jr., 80, of Worcester, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Rockhill Mennonite Community with his family by his side, after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Edna Grace (Quinn), his high school sweetheart, to whom he was married for over 58 years. Born July 20, 1933 in Lansdale, he was preceded in death by his parents Clarence K. Kratz, Sr., Esther (Krauss) and Corienne (Weigner); and siblings, Jean McCarter and Richard Kratz. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, David Kratz and his wife Lisha of Harleysville, Thomas Kratz, Sr. and his wife Claire of Spring City, Cheryl Fournier and her husband William of Worcester; his siblings, William Kratz, Louise Greene, Donald Kratz, Judy Fellman, Paul Kratz; his grandchildren, Lori Ann Culbertson, Rachel Kratz, Steven Kratz, Thomas Kratz, Jr., Sara Kratz, Hannah Kratz; and his granddog, Ellie. Mr. Kratz was a graduate of North Wales High School and a member of the Central Schwenkfelder Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, stationed in Germany at the 804th Station Hospital. He was a carpenter/builder for most of his life and a driver/salesmen at Stroehmann Bakery in Norristown for 40 years. After his retirement, he worked as an assembler at Deltronic Labs in Chalfont for over 6 years. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching football and baseball. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 11 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Central Schwenkfelder Church, 2111 Valley Forge Rd, Lansdale, where friends may greet the family from 10 to 11AM. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories.
