ESTHER BARDSLEY Esther "Mike" B. Bardsley, 92, formerly of Audubon, passed away March 12, 2012 at the Lutheran Community At Telford. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Bardsley. Born August 28, 1919 in Arlington, MA, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Esther (Baxter) Hummers. She was a graduate of Germantown High School, where she was a member of Delta Sigma sorority. She was employed with the John Wanamaker Department Store in King of Prussia, prior to retirement. Mrs. Bardsley particularly enjoyed fun times with family and friends, spending sunny days in Cape May, NJ, and thoroughly enjoying shrimp and lobster to excess. Surviving are two daughters, Jill Schwartz and her husband, Daniel, of Telford, and Susan Given and her husband, Charles, of Oxford; five grandchildren, Emily, Jacob, Charles III, Jonathan, and Amy; and seven great-grandchildren, Briana, Zackery, Max, Megan, Joey, Aubrey, and Ryan. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert C. Hummers, Jr. The family would especially like to thank the staff of the Lutheran Community At Telford for the compassionate care she received from nurturing caregivers for over two years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service at 1PM Saturday, May 12, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 126 Black Rock Rd., Oaks.
