Felix A. Molettiere

FELIX MOLETTIERE Felix A. Molettiere, "Rich", 92, a lifelong resident of Lansdale, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Elm Terrace Gardens in Lansdale. He was the beloved husband of 64 years of Stella S. (Siek) Molettiere. Born in Lansdale he was the beloved son of the late Soccorso and Rosina Boccella Molettiere. He was a very well-known Barber in Lansdale, starting his career in 1949 and opening his own shop in 1955. Mr. Molettiere served his country honorably during WWII in the European Theatre. He belonged to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and was a member of the Pius 9th Council Knights of Columbus. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four beloved children, sons, Richard F. Molettiere and his wife, Sharon, of Omaha, NE and Thomas Molettiere and his wife, Mary, of Lansdale and two daughters, Deborah Garges and her husband, Robert, of Hatfield and Terri-Lynne Snyder and her husband, Jeffrey, of Ft. Wayne, IN; 11 grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. Mr. Molettiere was preceded in death by five brothers, Jerry, John, Frank, Louis and Girard Molettiere and four sisters, Teresa Molettiere, Jean Tedesco, Celeste Becker and Louise Saldutti. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 3, at 9:30AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446, where the family will receive friends from 8:30 to 9:30AM, before Mass. Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. For those desiring, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions to St. Stanislaus Church (address above) would be preferred. Arrangements are by the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home in Lansdale.
