Felix R. Raymond Obituary
FELIX RAYMOND Felix R. Raymond, 83, of Topton, formerly of Conshohocken, passed away peacefully Sunday evening July 14, 2013 at The Lutheran Home of Topton. Born in Conshohocken to the late Joseph and Lucy D'Ettore Raymond, he was the loving husband of Mary A. (Fiori) Raymond for 57 years. Felix was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kutztown, and a former member of SS Cosmas and Damian Catholic Church, Conshohocken. He honorably served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict on the 39th Parallel for 18 months with his Engineering Battalion. A 1948 graduate of Conshohocken High School, he received his Associates Degree from Temple University. He was a Partner in Advanced Tank Systems of Colmar from 1990 until the present, and earlier worked for Callis-Thompson in Ambler and Colmar from 1965 to 1990. He was a member of the Delaware Valley Fuel Dealers Assoc, Fuel Merchants Assoc. of NJ, Oil Heat Assoc. of South Jersey, and PA Petroleum Assoc. Survivors, beside his wife, include children, Joseph and his wife Diane of Sanatoga, Mary Lynch of Whitehall, Michael of New Hope, Albert and Deborah of Forks Twp., and David F. and wife Karen of Montgomery Twp; he was Pop Pop to his 10 grandchildren and great-grandson, Wyatt James Matejicka; sister, Connie Raymond of Conshohocken; and brother Peter of East Norriton. He was predeceased by brother William, sister-in-law Frances and son-in-law Dr. James R. Lynch. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM Friday July 19 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Rd. Kutztown, PA 19530, where his viewing will begin at 9AM. Interment will follow at 1PM in Section 2 of Calvary Cemetery, 235 Matsonford Rd., Conshohocken. Contributions in honor of Felix can be made to the .
