Obituary Condolences

FRANCIS CUNNINGHAM Francis B. Cunningham, 88, formerly of Skippack, died July 3, 2012 at his daughter's home in Reading. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (Jefferies) Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham was born November 5, 1923 in Philadelphia, a son of the late Joseph and Kathrine (Hibbs) Cunningham. Mr. Cunningham graduated from the former Lansdale High School. During World War II he served in the US Army as a squad leader stationed in Sicily, Italy. He attained the rank of Sergeant. For 40 years he was a steel worker employed at Frank M. Weaver Co in Lansdale. He is survived by his children, James Francis Cunningham of Lansdale and Kathleen Ruth Cunningham of Reading . Also surviving is a grandson, Brett. He was pre-deceased by his brother, John Joseph and his sister, Mae. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass, Monday, July 9 at 11AM, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 40 Spring Mount Road, Schwenksville, where friends may call from 10 to 10:45 AM. Interment will be in St. Isidore's Cemetery, Quakertown. Contributions in Mr. Cunningham's memory may be made to TheCatWorks, Inc., PO Box 15171, Reading, PA 19612-5171.
