Obituary Condolences

GERDA LOBURAK Gerda M. "Pammy" Loburak, 93, of Lansdale, died Saturday, December 15, 2012. She was the wife of the late Carl W. Endy, who died in 1954, and the late Michael Loburak, who died in 1964. Born September 18, 1919 in Leipzig, Germany, Gerda was a daughter of the late Walter and Lina (Schnabel) Aust. Gerda moved to the United States in 1936 and became a naturalized citizen in 1945. She was employed in the production department of Merck for many years, retiring in 1981. Previously, she worked as a waitress at a number of local restaurants. Pammy was a dedicated member of Christ Lutheran Church in Kulpsville. Her hobbies included gardening and cooking. The most important thing to her, however, was her family. She cherished being a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra L. Klees and her husband, Richard, of Lansdale; three grandchildren, Heidi D'Alessandro and her husband, John, of Harleysville, Susan Sparkevicius and her husband, Brian, of Lansdale and Carl Endy of Chalfont; and two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Ty Sparkevicius. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her son, Walter C. Endy; four brothers; and one sister. Relatives and friends may call after 9AM Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Dock Woods Community Chapel, Woods Drive, Lansdale, followed by the Funeral Service at 10AM. Burial will be Whitemarsh Memorial Park. For those desiring, contributions may be made in Gerda's memory to Caring Hospice Service, 400 Commerce Dr., Suite C, Fort Washington, PA 19034. Arrangements are by Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
