HOMER D. MUSSELMAN Homer D. Musselman, 93, of Souderton, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, April 29, 2014. He was the husband of the late Grace L. (Schlosser) Musselman, who died July 20, 2013. Born September 27, 1920 in Harleysville, he was a son of the late Melvin and Ella (Drissel) Musselman. Mr. Musselman was a member of Plains Mennonite Church, Hatfield. Earlier in life, he worked in his father-in-law's butcher shop and in several upholstery shops. Later, he was employed as a Tile Setter with the former American Olean Tile, Lansdale, retiring in the early 1980s. Upon retirement, he worked at his son's body shop in Elroy. Homer enjoyed golfing, hunting, and working in his garden. Survivors include his children, Linda L. Gehman and her husband, Walton D., of Coopersburg, Roy S. Musselman and his wife, Mary, of East Greenville, and Betsy McCrorie and her husband, Pastor David, of Tecumseh, Ontario; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Stanley and Richard. Relatives and friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2014 at Plains Mennonite Church, 50 W. Orvilla Rd., Hatfield, followed by the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Arrangements are by the Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
