Joseph Anthony Kiely Obituary
JOSEPH KIELY Joseph Anthony Kiely, a resident of North Wales since 1981, passed away peacefully, at home, July 20, 2013 after a long illness. He was 63 years old. Joe's fondest memories of his youth were delivering the Bulletin and working at the Cricket Club and playing softball. He attended Bishop McDevitt High School where he graduated in 1968 then joined the Marine Corp Reserves. He developed carpentry skills while working for Wilber Hendricks, building custom homes. He transitioned into specialized roofing and siding with Fetterman Roofing. A career change lead him to Philadelphia Toboggan until he retired in 2007. Joe centered his life on family and home and enjoyed doing home improvements. He had many skills and was eager to lend a helping hand to family and friends. He enjoyed frequent vacations at the Jersey Shore, as well as, special times in Florida, Scandanavia and Ireland. Joe was avid Eagles and Phillies fan. He is survived by Terri, his wife since 1978; his daughter, Colleen; as well as his sister, Jane Jones (Jay); brothers, Robert Kiely, Neil Kiely (Kathy) and Terence Kiely; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service are Thursday 11AM at William R. May Funeral Home 142 N. Main St. (at Elm Ave.) North Wales. Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral home Thursday after 10AM.
