JUNE EVANS June (White) Evans, 80, of North Wales, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013. She was the loving wife of Robert H. Evans. They had been married 57 years. Born May 16, 1933 in Kingston, June was the daughter of the late Cyrus and Gladys (Anthony) White. June graduated from Kingston High School in 1950. She was a member of Lansdowne United Methodist Church. Her family considered her to be a loving grandmother to the world, as everywhere she went she loved spending time with children. She was a huge Philadelphia Flyers fan and was an avid reader. In addition to her husband, June is survived by three children, Thomas R. Evans of Colorado, Linda J. Evans of North Wales, and Tim Evans and his fiancee' Jamie Hawkey of Lansdale. She is also survived by a sister, Doris Evans and her husband, John, of Lititz, and her extended family, Jim and Karen Dembowski and their children, Jon and Katie of North Wales. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Kelley, and a brother, John White. There will be a time to view Mrs. Evans and greet the family from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 12 at the Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale. A graveside service will be held 11AM Thursday, June 13 at Memorial Shrine Cemetery, 1831 Eighth St., West Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Rosenfeld Cancer Center, Office of Philanthropy, 1200 Old York Rd., Abington, PA 19001, or to Flyers Wives Charities, 3601 S. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19148
