Obituary Condolences

LEONARD FISHER Leonard Fisher, 76, of Lansdale, went to be with his Lord, Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Abington Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Shirley L. (Brand) Fisher. Born June 16, 1935 in Quakertown, Leonard was the son of the late Wellington and Elsie (Hutt) Fisher. Mr. Fisher was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale. He will be remembered for his love of tinkering; Len was always working with his hands and was very handy around the home. In the past, Len enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling with his wife. In addition to his wife, Mr. Fisher is survived by two children, Kim Schuler and her husband, Rod, of Telford, and Mark Fisher and his companion, Joanne Reube, of Sellersville; two grandchildren, Justin Schuler and his partner, Kristina Wille, of Quakertown, and Kelly Schuler and her fianc, Jason Spindler, of North Wildwood, NJ; and one beloved great-granddaughter, Chloe Elizabeth Schuler. He is also survived by a sister, Elaine Pizza of Silverdale. Leonard was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister, and two infant siblings. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Fisher will be held 10AM Saturday, Feb. 11, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, where the family will receive friends after 9AM. Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leonard's memory to Best Friends Animal Society, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, UT, 84741.
