Obituary Condolences

NAOMI WILSON Naomi F. Wilson, formerly of Flourtown, died December 20, 2012 at Peter Becker Community in Harleysville where she had lived for 21 years. She was the wife of Thomas Wilson, Jr. They celebrated 64 years of marriage June 26, 2012. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Rebecca (Rogers) Freestone. She was a graduate of Simon Gratz High School and studied piano and organ at the Philadelphia Conservatory of Music. Mrs. Wilson taught piano for 50 years and was a church organist and accompanist. She was privileged to give a noontime recital on the Wanamaker organ in Philadelphia. She also was the secretary to the Traffic Manager at the Security Storage and Moving Co. in Philadelphia. Naomi was a member of Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek in Telford and was active in volunteer work at Peter Becker Community. She had a passion for music, and spent most of her life teaching others the joy of the piano and organ. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading and going to classical music concerts. A Memorial Service will be held in the Peter Becker Community Chapel Friday, December 28 at 1PM. Interment was private at Northwood Cemetery in the West Oak Lane neighborhood of Philadelphia. Memorial contributions may be made to the Benevolent Fund of Peter Becker Community, 800 Maple Ave., Harleysville, PA 19438. Funeral arrangements were made by the Craft Funeral Home, Erdenheim.
