Obituary Condolences

NAOMI ROESENER Naomi (Cassel) Roesener, 92, of Souderton Mennonite Homes, passed away at Grand View Hospital February 5, 2012. She was the wife of the late Wilbur Roesener, who passed away in 1996. Born September 8, 1919 in Worcester, she was a daughter of the late Morris Benner Cassel and Catherine (Rader) Cassel. Mrs. Roesener was a member of Central Schwenkfelder Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and enjoyed being a homemaker. Surviving are two daughters, Linda Hess and her husband, Ivan, of Telford, and Dorothy Myers and her husband, John, of Perkasie; four sons, William Roesener and his wife, Linda, of Sellersville, Thomas Roesener and his wife, Mary Ann, of Telford, Paul Roesener and his wife, Ellen, of Sellersville, and James Roesener and his wife, Sheryle, of Perkiomenville; a daughter-in-law, Mary Roesener of Royersford; a brother, Robert Earl Cassel; a sister, Mary Emma Clemens; 17 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, David and Harry Roesener; and four siblings, John and Ralph Cassel, Christiana Nice, and Helen Yoder. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11AM Thursday, Feb. 9, at Central Schwenkfelder Church, 2111 Valley Forge Rd., Lansdale, PA 19446, where family will receive friends beginning at 10AM. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
