Nevin M. Shea Obituary
NEVIN SHEA Nevin M. "Nev Man" Shea, 20, of Mt. Pleasant Mills passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 near Elizabethtown from injuries sustained in a single vehicle accident. He was the son of Brian K. and Kathryn A. (Hartkorn) Shea of Mt. Pleasant Mills. In addition to his parents, Nevin is survived by two brothers; Stephen M. Shea and his companion Michelle Uptagrafft of Post Falls, Idaho, and Matthew P. Shea of Mt. Pleasant Mills; Maternal grandmother; Dale J. Hartkorn of Hatfield; Paternal grandparents; Stephen B. Shea of Mt. Pleasant Mills and M. Lois Shea of Zellwood, FL; aunts and uncles; Peter and Denise Hartkorn of Jamison, Jacob Hartkorn of Chalfont, June and Charles Brauer of Hatfield, Linda Hartkorn of Warminster, Michael Shea of Pipersville, Maureen Shea and her companion Rich of Quakertown, Brenda Shea of Collegeville, and Kara and Matt Febus of Souderton, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his Maternal grandfather, Peter Hartkorn and his uncle, Timothy Hartkorn. There will be no viewing, a memorial service will be held Saturday, September 14 at 11AM at Grace Covenant Community Church, 99 N. Shuman Street, Middleburg followed by a visitation at the church. Officiating will be Pastor Jodi Strawser. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Nevin Shea Memorial Fund to benefit the Snyder Co. 4-H Foundation and the Tiger Quarterback Club c/o Mifflinburg Bank & Trust, 2894 N. Susquehanna Trail, Shamokin Dam, PA 17876. The George P. Garman Funeral Homes, Inc., 9366 Rt. 35, Mt. Pleasant Mills is assisting the family with the arrangements.
