Obituary Condolences

ROBERT GREEN Robert A. Green, 75, of Souderton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 17, 2013. He and his wife, Alice (Detweiler) Green, observed their 51st wedding anniversary September 29th of last year. Born May 7, 1937 in Abington, he was a son of the late Elmer and Beatrice (Allen) Green. He was a 1955 graduate of the former Hatfield High School and then served in the U. S. Army. For 35 years, Mr. Green was employed as a machinist with Gasboy International, Inc. of Lansdale. Mr. Green was an active member of Zion Mennonite Church for over 50 years. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, and cherished time with his family. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Brent Green of Huntingdon; a daughter, Sharon Seeley of Middleburg, FL; a sister, Barbara Green of Souderton; a brother, Wayne Green of Wichita, KS; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 7PM Tuesday, April 23, at Zion Mennonite Church, 149 Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964, where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 6:45PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Zion Mennonite Church Capital Campaign. Arrangements are by Williams-Bergey-Koffel Funeral Home, Inc. of Franconia Twp.
