Obituary Condolences

ROBERT KASINGER Robert C. Kasinger, 83, of Harleysville, passed into his heavenly home Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Lansdale Hospital. He and his wife, Vera L. (Largent) Kasinger, would have celebrated their 57th anniversary June 4th. The youngest son of Harvey D. and Bertha (Cressman) Kasinger, he was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Willard and Clifford, and sister, Dorothy Pfleiger. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Janet M. Harwick, wife of Dwain of Bluefield, WV and Beth A. Jacobson, wife of Douglas of Harleysville; and granddaughters, Raeann E. Reynolds, wife of Tyler of Lynchburg, VA and Melissa D. Harwick of Bluefield, WV. He is also survived by a sister Gladys Koder, wife of Milton of Morwood; and six nieces and nephews. Robert was employed by M & S Vending of Lansdale for 36 years and retired in 1993. He was a corporal in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from 1950 to 1952 and served one year in Korea. His interests included gardening, cars, electronics, photography, and traveling. He was a long-time member of Bethany Bible Fellowship Church in Hatfield for 57 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 11AM Monday, April 9, at Bethany Bible Fellowship Church, 75 W. Broad St., Hatfield, PA 19440 where family will receive friends at 10:30AM. Burial will be private at Whitemarsh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the American Parkinson's Association, 116 John St., New York, NY 10038, or to the church above.
