Obituary Condolences

THEO. ULMER, III Theo. C. Ulmer, III, "Ted", 72, of Sarasota, FL, died April 29, 2012 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 38 years H. Caroline (Lible) Ulmer. He had resided in Bucks and Montgomery Counties all of his life prior to retirement to Florida in 2010. Born November 3, 1939 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Theo. C., Jr. and Ellen (Cameron) Ulmer. Ted was the Owner/President, for over 50 years, of Repair Unlimited, Inc. located in Abington. Repair Unlimited, Inc. provided service and repair of industrial equipment (hoists, cranes, power tools) to many industries located on the East Coast. From an early age Ted had an interest racing boats, cars and motorcycles. This interest continued throughout his life with the ownership many cars, several boats and recreational vehicles. He enjoyed the game of golf, boating on the Chesapeake and traveling in the RV. Ted could fix anything and spent many years completing home improvement projects. Upon retirement to Florida, Ted enjoyed a renewed interest in gardening. Ted is survived by a daughter, Lynn Holtzman and her husband, Gil, of Harleysville; a son, Ted, IV of Wescosville; a son, Chris Melrath of Philadelphia; a son, Kyle Melrath of Lansdale; a daughter-in-law, Lynette Melrath of Souderton; and a sister, Barbara Zimmerman of Lumberton, NJ. Also survived by grandchildren, Sarah, Jake, Katey, Stephanie, Samantha, Christy, Nicholas and Tyler; great-grandson, Patrick; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Eckert and a son, Gordie Melrath. Services and interment will be private.
