Georgia J. "Ginger" Keane Obituary
GEORGIA J. 'GINGER' KEANE Georgia J. "Ginger" Keane, of Schwenksville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. She was the loving wife of Norbert J. Keane. They were married on August 31, 1968 and were into their 45th year of a wonderful marriage. Georgia, better known as Ginger, was born August 2, 1947 in Philadelphia. She was the daughter of the late Edwin and Marguerite( Ferris) Segletes. Ginger enjoyed travel, especially cruises and family vacations to the beach. Her favorite activities were planting flowers and bird watching. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and going on long walks with her beloved dogs. Along with her husband, she is survived by three children. Norbert J. Keane III of Quakertown, Heather M., and her husband Neil Kratz, of Perkiomenville, and Rachel E. Faye of Gilbertsville; seven Grandchildren, Devyn, Dylan, Andrew, Sydney, Kyle, Shawn and Owen. A time to greet the family and celebrate her life will be held at Meadow Glen Club House, 4651 Spencer Dr., Schwenksville, PA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Ginger's name to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, 5001 Angel Canyon Rd., Kanab, UT 84741. Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, is handling arrangements.
