Robert F. Love Obituary
ROBERT F. LOVE Robert F. Love, 85, of Audubon, went to be with his Lord May 16, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Janet Rittenhouse Love for over 63 years. Born July 19, 1928 in Norristown, he was the son of the late Harold and Violet Love. Robert had a passion for sports, especially baseball and track, which he ran in high school. It was this love of sports that prompted him to start the Audubon Recreational Association. He also enjoyed baking pies for his family and various organizations for fund raisers. He was also an avid bird watcher. Robert was a member of the F&AM Lodge 620; Tall Cedars; Eagleville-Trooper Lions Club; Williamson Alumni Association; a longtime member of Lower Providence Presbyterian Church; and a lifetime member of Lower Providence Volunteer Fire Company. Bob was a Brick Mason for several years after graduation from Williamson Trade School. In 1956 while working, he was in an accident and became a paraplegic. In 1958 he was elected Tax Collector for Lower Providence Township and served in that position for 48 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Linda Cumalat and husband Charles, Glenda Caparro, David Love and wife Wannetta, Kevin Love and wife Kim; grandchildren Joseph, Candace, Karleen, Brian, Kristy, Tyler, Zach; great grandchildren Chase and Olivia and one sister, Virginia Love. He was preceded in death by brother - Harold Love. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Thursday May 22, 2014 11 AM at Lower Providence Presbyterian Church, 3050 West Ridge Pike, Norristown, PA 19403. Friends may call Wednesday May 21, 2014 from 6:30-8:30 PM at the R. L. Williams Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., Skippack Pike at Cedars Rd. Skippack, and again Thursday May 22 from 10-10:45 AM at Lower Providence Presbyterian church at the address above. Interment services will take place in the adjoining church cemetery. Memorial contributions in Robert's name may be made to either, Lower Providence Presbyterian Church at the address above or Norriton Presbyterian Church, P.O.
