Leonardo Messina Obituary

LEONARDO MESSINA Leonardo Messina, 77, of Lansdale, went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 30, 2012 in Longobardi, Italy. He was the husband of Rosa DiBetta. Born February 7, 1935 in Vibo Valentia, Italy he was the son of the late Rosario and Concetta Messina. He moved to the United States in 1975 and was employed with Precision Tube for 15 years. He then moved back to Italy in 2008 to be with his family. He loved fishing, hunting, and cars. He is survived by his wife; of over fifty five years, Rosa DiBetta; his brother; Salvatore Messina; and his sister; Rosa Messina. He is survived by his children, Rosario Messina and his wife, Raffaela, Nicola Messina and his wife, Teresa, Giuseppe Messina and his wife, Caterina, Concetta Messina and her husband, Domenico, Caterina Messina and her husband, Giovanni, Gregorio Messina and his wife, Lisa, Maria Messina, Francesco Messina and his wife, Marianne, and Domenica Messina and her husband, Salvatore; and his eighteen grandchildren, Rose, Rosario, Leonardo, Rosanna, Nicola, Giuseppe, Stefania, Concettina, Pietro, Concetta, Domenica, Gregory, Alissa, Francesco, Marissa, Anthony, Leonardo, and Franklin; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral Services were held on May 1, 2012 in Italy.
