Ruth E. Rinker

RUTH RINKER Ruth E. (Rorer) Rinker of North Wales, passed away September 20, 2012 at the home where she was born and resided for 82 years. She was the wife of the late John "Rink" Rinker and the daughter of the late Melvin and Sallie (Wolfgang) Rorer. Ruth drove bus for the North Penn School district for over 30 years. She loved camping with the friendly campers club and traveling with family and friends. Ruth enjoyed flowers, cross-stitching and knitting afghans for her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Luke's UCC of North Wales and a member of their choir for many years. Ruth is survived by her son, Allen, of North Carolina; six daughters, Lynn Rinker of Quakertown, Ann Balsimo (Ted) of Hawaii, Janet McFadden (Dennis Wallace) of North Wales, Sue Camburn (Russell) of Lansdale, Alis Lauman (Barry) of Lansdale and Holly Lowrey (Shawn) of East Greenville; and her brother Paul Rorer(Dorothy). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sons, Gary and Jim; her granddaughter, Kira Lucas; her brother, Melvin Rorer Jr.; her sister, Jean Serratore; her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Rinker; and her son-in-law Vincent "Gator" McFadden. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:30AM at St. Luke's UCC, 125 N. Main St. North Wales, PA 19454. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing at the church from 9 to 11AM. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Luke's UCC at the above address would be appreciated. Arrangements are by the William R.
