Brent was one of the best General Managers that I have had the pleasure to call my boss while he worked at Republic Services in Telford. He was a great boss, leader, supporter and friend. Brent always greeted you with a big smile. He always looked on the positive side and always looked for the best in everyone. The day Brent was about to announce that he was leaving he came to my office to let me know before he made the announcement. As he told me tears filled my eyes it was so very sad to hear. I knew we were about to lose a really awesome General Manager and someone who was a friend to me. Hearing the news of Brent's passing breaks my heart and brings more tears. It was an honor to know Brent and to be a part of his life while we worked together at Republic Services. He will be sorely missed by everyone.

Praying that Brent's family will be comforted by the prayers and love from friends and family during this very difficult time of processing the grief of this loss. Praying that they will always be reminded of the love Brent had for all of them.

So very sorry for your loss you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Brent Swartz was a wonderful man, I had the pleasure of first meeting him at my first public speaking event for an Allied Waste Sales meeting of the East PA group, he saw I was still nervous after the meeting and he told me a similar experience he had which made us both laugh.
When he left Allied to work for Republic I was sad to see him go yet was so happy to see him back again as our GM.
He was always so positive, I remember the bet we had to get up and meet at 6 am to go for a jog in Philly after a Sales group night out (a few other people, I won't mention any names thought I wouldn't show up either), Well 6 am Shelly and I showed up, which he and Shelly jogged down Kelly Dr and I walked briskly with my pride for showing up....

Brent, always talked so highly about his children and always inquired about mine.
He will be missed greatly. Brent, and his family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
