To all in the Bernhard family,

My sincere sympathy to all of you in the loss of your loved one. I first met Donna, when we both worked at a nursing home and she was a nurse's aide. She always spoke of becoming a nurse, and, after several years, when I saw her again, she had fulfilled her dream. I have many memories of enjoyable times that my husband and I spent with Donna and her husband, George. She was a person with strong convictions and beliefs, and I admired her for that. It was an honor to have known her. Rest in peace, Donna.
