Wilma Marie (Ross) Ferguson

Wilma Marie (Ross) Ferguson of Rolla, Missouri went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 3, 2018 at the age of 86. She was born one of ten children in Henrietta, Oklahoma to Claude Troy and Minnie Suzie (Lay) Ross.
Wilma was married to Marvin James Ferguson for ten years where they resided in Knoxville, Tennessee; this union was blessed with two sons.
In addition to Knoxville, Tennessee, Wilma lived in Oklahoma, Sikeston, Missouri and St. Louis, Missouri where she worked retail for TWA. In 1972 she continued her retail and management career with the 7-11 Corporation, where she ran several stores throughout the Ozarks until her retirement in 1985. Once retired, she relocated to Rolla, Missouri to be closer to her brothers and sisters.
Wilma enjoyed the walking or hiking in the nearby parks and woods and canning vegetables and fruit from her gardens. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Wilma is survived by her two sons, Dale (Patricia) Ferguson of Scott City, Missouri and Gary L. (Patricia) Ferguson of St. Charles, Missouri; grandsons, Benji (Shawn) Ferguson of Scott City, Missouri, Jamie Ferguson of Scott City, Missouri and Joseph D. Ferguson of St. Charles, Missouri; step-brother Johnny Tipton of Oklahoma; brother, Jack Ross of Rolla, Missouri; sisters, Ruby Worth, Claudia Jo Little and Betty Duncan all of Rolla, Missouri.
In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her brothers, Jim Ross and Paul Ross; sisters, Dean Little and Mary Harris.
A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 1:00PM in the Ozark Hills Memorial Garden in Rolla, Missouri with Wilma's brother Jack Ross officiating. For online condolences please visit www.jamesgahrmortuary.com
