I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the family of Dr. Bridgewater. He and my father were line brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha, Nu Chapter at Lincoln University. We were visiting in Bermuda a few years ago and had the opportunity to spend a lovely afternoon with Dr. Bridgewater as our gracious and funny host. I have heard the stories from my father over the years, with my dad affectionately referring to "Bridgewater" and sharing the memories of the great times they shared in their youth.
I know he will be dearly missed and may you find peace at this difficult time knowing he spread joy and laughter to others.

To Dina, Kevin, Kimberley, Janet, brother and sisters and the entire Bridgewater family, I was truly saddened to hear of Bridgey's passing, but God knows best. He was the second boss whom I had at the age of 21. I learnt so much from him that I took with me, which has truly assisted me over the years to deal with so many things. I pay tribute to Vincent Roland Chesterfield Bridgewater and he will always have a special place in my heart. Also, my husband Clinton and the entire Leader family send their condolences. To Kim and Kevin,
I am still coming to terms of your dads passing. Not even a week before he passed he ran across my mind, your dad was my dentist, and dearest friend. He was my daughters dentist and friend all of her life ! He was direct and to the point! I loved his passion for his profession and how he cared about my daughter and myself. As I sit back and think about the laughs we shared...we both thought the other was crazier then ourselves and loved each other for being out right down to earth, crazy, and true. He will be a miss. Im sorry I did not follow my first mind and see him. He was a jem and I will always be proud to say he was my friend! Bridgie! Just to say Bridgie I used to smile and would continue to smile as I remember you. RIP my friend. To Kim and Kevin may God wrap his arms around you during this time and always.
