Joey,
As you pass through this temporary phase of your life we would like to thank you for the years of special memories. We will always remember the times we had with you, whether it was during our daily visits at the hospital, or when you came home on many special occasions. We are at peace knowing that you fought a good fight, and finished your course, now it is time for you to reap your reward. You will forever be in our hearts and will never ever be forgotten.

As we get older, those memories of special moments from the past age with us and never let us go.
So much I may have forgotten about my childhood, but memories of Joey stay with me; in the lunch garden, in the classroom, at a birthday party and many more. All through them I see his beautiful smile. His smile made you feel as if, in that moment, you were the only one there. I know he's still smiling in the great beyond, and I pray for you, Mrs. Preece, Karla, Donna & Hubert to feel the peace and comfort in knowing there's another angel who's now looking out for you.

To all family and friends of Joey.
The news of the passing of my dear old friend, brought on an array of emotions. Sharing a classroom for 15 years, a neighbourhood and some N.Y.C. moments, has left me with a lifetime of fond memories. Joey's charm, wit, and powerful energy will be forever etched in my mind. His loyalty and generosity, will be held eternally in my heart. The insane amount of laughter therapy he provided me, will continue to lift my spirit. I pray that it will do the same for you, during your moments of grief.
It broke my heart that I was unable to attend the services of my dearest and oldest friend. However, knowing Joey, I'm sure he'll be back.
Thank you for taking care of him and I wish you all love and peace.

I was deeply saddened to see the death notice of Joey, I remember him from school at Northlands(many moons ago) he was very popular, liked to laugh a lot. To the Preece family my sincere condolences for your loss, my prayer is that God will blanket you with his love and touch your hearts and minds with the peace that surpasses all our understanding, weeping last but for a night but joy comes in the morning.
