Carlyle Crockwell Obituary
A service celebrating the life of Carlyle McNeil Eugene (PeeWee,
Candy Papa) Crockwell Sr., MBE, beloved husband of Naomi Zuill-
Crockwell, in his 84th year, will be held at the First Church of
God, Pembroke on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 1 pm. The
interment will follow at the St. Peter's Cemetery, St. Georges.
Flowers may be sent.
Viewing will be held THIS EVENING, Wednesday, July 8 at 7:30 – 9:00 at Amis Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick and the day of the
funeral at the church from 12 noon -12:45.
He is survived by his children, Donna Eve (Ken), Carlyle Jr.,
Annette, Trevor, Carla, Kelton, and Eshe (aka Lisa) and
stepchildren Lovette Bailey (Shaun) and Doreen Zuill (Conrad).
Brother, Jerome and half-brother Winfield Crockwell; sister,
Barbara Flint; brothers-in-law, Beldwin Smith (Velda) and
Clarence Tucker (Barbara); sisters-in-law, Juliette Harris
(Alfonzo), Burnette Brown (Steven), Sarahann Watson, Gail
Williams (MacDonald); godson, Kuhn Evans, Sr.; His dedicated
caregivers, David and Avrel Zuill. Carlyle will be missed by his
many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and
other relatives too numerous to name.
He was predeceased by daughters Lynette Trott and Zina
Crockwell; sisters, Winifred Kellman, Carol (Aunt Kay) Henries,
Marjorie Glover, Gloria Outerbridge and June Boyd.
Sporting attire is acceptable.

To the Crockwell family,
I can envisage the very professional, enthusiastic and energetic man in the middle, ready with the whistle to blow any infraction, and to reach into his pocket for the dreaded yellow or red card.
I can also envisage the gentleman whose membership in the Ex-Artillery Men's Association permitted our paths to cross as the establishment was across from my family home.
I can also remember the genuine smile and warm greeting as a customer at the Bank of Bermuda, all traits of a wonderful gentleman.
