I write on behalf of the Bermuda ex-Police Officers Association to express our deepest sadness on hearing of the passing of Elizabeth Betty Osborne who made history in 1962 when she became one of our first Woman Police Officers and served from 1962-1970. Betty was a delightful person and all those who worked with her will have fond memories of a quiet but dedicated officer who was an ideal role model to those who followed in her footsteps. Our sincere condolences to her family and her many friends.
