MURPHYSBORO -- Michael D. Hinkle, 59, passed away at 6:48 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, in St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Mur-physboro.
Services will be at 7 p.m. today at Pettett Funeral Home with the Rev. James Easton officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, and his body will be cremated.

Michael was born Nov, 4, 1953, in Anna to Harry Hinkle and Logreta (Merrinan) Hinkle. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War
. Mike was a car salesman for many years. He used to hunt and fish, and he had enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Mr. Hinkle was a member of Anna United Pentecostal Church. He married Cheryl Plott on March 15, 1986, in Anna, and she survives.
Other survivors include two children, Taylor Hinkle and her boyfriend, Joseph Childers, and Nathan Hinkle, all of Murphysboro; one sis-ter, Patty Pinnon and her husband, Clyde Pinnon Sr., of Wolf Lake; one brother, Thomas Hinkle and his wife, Ginger Hinkle, of Millersville, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Hinkle; and his parents.
