What an honor it must be to have such a humble hero as a father, husband, grandfather, friend. I know just reading about him made my heart swell with pride to be a part of a system that cares for these quiet heroes who fought to give us even the simple pleasures of being an American citizen.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. From the heartwarming smile in his picture, I know he will truly be missed.
