Evelyn Carroll Obituary

NASHVILLE -- Evelyn Renee Carroll, departed this life after a motorcycle accident at 2:45 a.m. Sunday, May 29, 2011, west of Plum Hill. She had attained the age of 44 years, three months and 28 days.

Mrs. Carroll was born Feb. 1, 1967, in Houston, the daughter of Carl and Mary (Barnett) Garner.

She was united in marriage to Charles Carroll on Feb. 28, 2009, in Nashville, and he survives her passing.

Renee worked at LinCare Inc., in Murphysboro for five years as a senior customer service representative and she was a member of Boozettes Club.

Left to mourn her passing is her husband, Charles "Chaz" Carroll of Nashville; his father, Carl Garner of Texas; two sons, Cameron and Corey Hofmann of Centralia; three stepsons, Dallas Hofmann of Indiana, Joshua Carroll of Nashville and Spencer Carroll of Florida; a stepdaughter, Taylor Carroll of Nashville; two brothers, Glen Garner and Roland Garner, both of Texas; two sisters, April Garner and Paula Cooper both of Texas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Paul Garner.

Per the wishes of Renee and her family, cremation was performed and a memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, in Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville with the Rev. Scott Sharp officiating. Friends may call at Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the charity of the donor's choice and will be accepted by Campagna Funeral Home.

I will miss Renee so very much. She was such a wonderful person and a great friend of mine. I am so very sorry for the loss we all feel right now.
