Jay is my Second Cousin , My Grandpa Hershal Patterson and Uncle John were brothers . Since we are the "West Coast" Pattersons we have not had as much chance to get spend time with as much of the( Southern Ill. ) Patterson . So when Jay and Samatha move to Washington we all got a chance to know Jay .We will all miss him so much ,but are forever grateful to have memories of a man who just loved life and no matter what challenges he had he did not allow it to stop him from coming to family gathers and being the life of the party .

Sending my love and prayers to his family and friends during this hard time of losing him . But I know that on Christmas Day in heaven there was a huge reunion party going on with his family already there .
