URBANDALE -- Linda O'Dell (Verble) Jackson, 67, of Springfield, formerly of Urbandale, passed away at 12:46 a.m. Friday July 13, 2012, in Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Linda was born Jan. 11, 1945, in Cairo, daughter of the late Silas Verble and Jewell (Keller) Verble.
Linda was a member of Calvary Temple Church in Springfield, a 1963 Graduate of Cairo High School, and a housewife and a homemaker.
Linda married Dearl I. Jackson on Nov. 26, 1968, in Cairo.
Survivors include her husband, Dearl I. Jackson of Springfield; two daughters, Cindy (John) May of Fisher and Angela (Jason) Harmon of Springfield; brother, Don (Dee) Verble of America; four grandchildren, Macy Ellis, Katie, Julia and Jackson Harmon; two great-grandchildren, Rylee and Bennelli Ellis; and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Linda Jackson will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 15, in Jones Funeral Home Villa Ridge, with the Rev. Buddy Walls officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorials to the donor's choice in memory of Linda Jackson.
