Mary Gulley Obituary
She worked for the state police in Springfield for 38 years.
She was born to Claude R. and Bertha Louise (Haywood) Gulley on Aug. 20, 1938, in West Frankfort.
Memorials may be made to American Heart Society or Ulcerative Colitis Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
She was of Southern Baptist Faith.
Survivors include sisters brother-in-law, Margaret Gulley of Springfield, Claudia and Ted Campbell of Springfield; nieces and nephews, Julie and Dave Hess, Keith Culp, Matthew and Becky Culp, all of Pekin, Dax and Erin Campbell of Springfield; Derek and Briana Campbell of Montgomery, Texas; and 13 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Leona Culp.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday May 6, in Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser with Brother Gary West officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
