Paul Stiff Obituary
Mr. Stiff was born Aug. 10, 1926, at Miller City, a son to the late Edward Stiff and Pearl (Davis) Stiff.
Mr. Stiff was a retired construction laborer, a 63-year-member of Laborers Union Local 773 of Marion and was of Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
Paul is survived by his wife, Louise (Franklin) Stiff of Tamms; four sons, Charles L. Stiff, Paul Douglas Stiff, Bill Stiff, all of Tamms, and Kenny Stiff of Olive Branch; one daughter, Glenda Dowdy of Tamms; two sisters, Mary Houston of Cairo and Stella Pritcher of Panama City, Fla.; one brother, Charles L. Stiff of Cairo; 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Paul E. Stiff will be 11 a.m. today in Jones Funeral Home in Tamms with the Rev. Bob Smithey and the Rev. Gene Hart officiating. Interment will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 and 11 a.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.
