HARRISBURG - Ronald Keith "Pee Wee" Gunther, 67, passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, at his residence.

Pee Wee was born May 1, 1946, in Peach Orchard, Mo., to the late Audie and Sadie (Huddleston) Gunther.
Pee Wee served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Pee Wee was an owner operator of his over the road trucking business. He was a member of the Country Sound Band, an avid Harley Davidson rider, enjoyed camping, guitar playing, fishing and enjoyed carpentry.
He married Dianne (Brugger) who survives.
Survivors include a son Ronald (Katherine) Gunther of Marion; two daughters; Penny (Kevin) Gunther-Johnson of Goreville and Tammy Gunther of Paducah; a stepson, C.J. (Tracy) Warne of Bloomington; two stepdaughters, Tasha Wallace of Harrisburg and Dawn (Ralph) Maier of Ozark; one brother, Leroy (Mary) Gunther, Colo.; four sisters; Sharon "Sissie" Jones of Vienna, Phyllis Gunther of Paducah, Caro-lyn (Mike) Leverett of Galatia and Connie (Brad) Davis of Metropolis; grandchildren, Nick Johnston, Kyle Gunther, Gaje Gunther, Trevor Gunther, Hayden Gunther and Piper Gunther, Savannah Warne, Tim Maier, Derrek Maier and Greg Maier; and 15 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Catherine Gunther; and four brothers, John "Gunny" Gunther, Harold Gunther, Billy Gunther and Charles Gunther.
Pee Wee was cremated at his request and a service will be announced in the future.
