Ryan was born Nov. 20, 1979, in Carbondale, to Donnie Robbins and Patty Rogers.
He was a deckhand at Luhr Brothers and also worked for Airtrend Heating and Cooling and Midland Inn.
Survivors include his mother, Patty and husband, Randy Gibson, of Cobden; father, Donnie Robbins of Carbondale; daughter, Grace and her mother, Madeline Mansker; special "Nana," Connie Rogers of Carbondale; brother, Joey Robbins of Murphysboro and Matt Robbins of Carterville; sisters, Shelbi Smith and husband, Wes, of Carbondale and Jenny Rogman and husband, Brett, of Carbondale; girlfriend, Kelly Spaven of West Frankfort; many cousins; and nephews, Boston and Lane of Carbondale.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill "Papa" Rogers and Wendell and Evelyn Robbins.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, in Walker Funeral Home and Crematory of Carbondale, with Sandor Paull officiating. Burial will be in Murdale Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 17, at Vine Church in Carbondale.
Memorials may be made to Grace Robbins for her education.
In the words of his daughter, "My Daddy always said, "I love you Gracie Lou. He loved spending time with me. Daddy also loved to watch Cardinal Baseball games, hunt, fish, grill out, and play softball with me. Daddy always had a smile on his face. I know he will have a good time in heaven. May he rest in peace. I love you." - Grace.
