Syble Puttmann Obituary

CARBONDALE -- Syble Lorrayne Puttmann, 69, passed away May 24, 2011, in Providence Critical Care Facility in Anchorage, Alaska.

She was born Jan. 29, 1942, in Makanda to Theodore and Lorrayne (Dixon) Puttmann.

She is survived by her mother; one daughter, Threasa Larby and husband, Stephen; four grandsons, Daniel, Aaron, Dusty and Nick Swain, all residing in Sterling, Alaska; two sisters, Sharen Oliver and husband, John, of Whittington and Margaret Walker of Murphysboro; three nephews and two nieces.

There were no services conducted as it was her wish that her body be donated to science for research.

Lorrayne, Threasa, and the rest of Syble's family.

I worked with Syble at Menard Psychiatric Center, and we were good friends, when she lived in Ellis Grove. After she moved back to Alaska, we lost touch. I had always hoped to contact her again, one day.

I knew Syble when she had the last name of Thomas, and my last name was Stoffel, before I ever married.

May God comfort you on her loss.
