OLIVE BRANCH - Travis E. LeSar, 91, of Florissant, Mo., formerly of Olive Branch, died at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013, in Veteran's Home of St. Louis.

He was born Sept. 9, 1921, in Olive Branch, the son of Charles H. and Clara B. (Barnett) LeSar.
He was married on Sept. 15, 1947, to Mary Jane Allsup. She preceded him in death Oct. 13, 1992.
He served his country in the U.S. Army honorably during World War II.
He retired from McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft where he worked as captain of security.
Survivors include his two sons, Doug and Mike LeSar, both of Florissant; two granddaughters, Erica and Laura; six great- grandchildren, Alexis, Dennis, Damon, Isaac, Isla, and David; nieces; nephews and other relatives.
Besides his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Eshcol Willis and Irma Hagler; and three brothers, Leland, Paul, and Forrest LeSar.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 13, in Olive Branch Cemetery, with military honors by American Legion Post 178 and the Illinois Honor Guard.
