GOREVILLE - Ryan Keith Bliss, 28, passed away at 8:11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, in Blue Funeral Home in Goreville, with Pastor Cecil Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery in Goreville. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at the funeral home.

Ryan was born Oct. 3, 1981, in Mount Vernon, to Paul and Carolyn (Cunningham) Bliss.
He married Jennifer Tate on June 7, 2004, in Williamson County.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer of Goreville; son, Noah Keith Bliss of Goreville; his dog, Max; his parents, Paul and Carolyn Bliss of Johnston City; sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Doug Dunn of Goreville; nephews, Tanner and Briley Dunn; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Brian and Venita Wallace of Johnston City; father-in-law, Greg Tate; sister-in-law, Jami and Travis Hickey of Marion; nephew, Race Hickey; sister-in-law, Gracie Tate; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hubert and Lona Bliss; and maternal grandparents, Wayne and Lucill Cunningham.
Ryan was a mechanic and worked on anything he could. He enjoyed helping people, riding 3-wheelers with his son, brother-in-law and nephews, and going to Monster Jam with his son. He loved spending time with his family and was always loyal to his family and friends.
