Marion Thecla Douglas

Marion Thecla Douglas, 87, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014. She was born on March 15, 1926, in Davenport Iowa, to Frank and Thecla Schupp Siebengartner. She was blessed to have five brothers and three sisters. Marion was married to Billy Miles Douglas on February 17, 1946 in Yuma City, Arizona.
Marion spent her childhood in Davenport and later moved to Long Beach, California. She retired in Saint George. Marion had a strong work ethic from a young age and enjoyed working as the office manager for her and Bill's Business, "Douglas Electric". Marion and Bill loved to fish and sail on their boat off of Catalina Island, CA and traveled the world together. She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, James Douglas; grandchildren, Jessica Croft and Annie Douglas; great grandchildren, Brody Douglas, Hannah Croft, Leah Douglas and Dillon Croft.
She is preceded in death by Bill Douglas (Spouse) and Bryce Douglas (Grandson).
Memorial Services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Spilsbury Mortuary Chapel, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George, UT.
