DeLoa Keenan, age 73 died on Wednesday June 12, 2013 in St George, due to health issues. She was born in Washington, UT to Rulon "Boots" Barney Cox and Ida May Iverson. As an adult she lived in Centerville, UT and worked at the Salt Lake Post Office and JC Penney. After 35 years she returned home to St. George. She is survived by Peri Chapman (Craig), Newman Lake, WA, Darren Glen Keenan (Loni), Edina, MN, Janice "Jana" Nate (Brad), Spanish Fork, UT, Robyn Chapman (Phil), Veyo, UT, Brent Rulon Keenan (Holly), St. George, UT, and Darcy Keenan, West Jordan, UT, 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Rulon Walter Cox (Jeanenne), St George, UT, Wendell Alton Cox (Pam),La Mesa, CA, sister in law Sue Cox, St. George, UT and stepmother Rita Cox, St George, UT. She is preceded in death by parents, husband Michael Herbert Keenan, brother Mervyn Kay Cox and sister Mary Beth Cox. She touched many lives and will be missed. Funeral services on Wednesday June 19, 2013 at 11:00 am at Spilsbury Mortuary 110 S. Bluff, St. George, viewing at 9:30-10:30 am before services.
