Myrtle Velma Cisneros
St. George, Utah - Myrtle Velma Cisneros, 92, passed away Monday, April 1, 2013. She was born July 26, 1920, in Lewiston, Utah to Frank and Pearl Myers Payne. She married Rosario J. Cisneros on July 18, 1935 in Lincoln Park, Michigan.
She was raised in St. Louis, Missouri and a high school graduate. Other places she lived are Detroit, Michigan; San Antonio, Texas; El Monte, California and St. George, Utah. She worked as a retail clerk and in the nursing field for many years. She loved crocheting, needlework, crafts and gardening. She liked visiting and talking with other people. She enjoyed very much going to the senior center.
She is survived by her only child, Ross J. Cisneros (Norma), St. George; her grandchildren, Heidi Schaefer (Steve), Florida, Dana Spohn (Mike), California, Robin Johnson (Erik), Washington and Kenny Cisneros (Liz), Florida. She had 21 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Rosario J. Cisneros and a grandson, Jeffrey Cisneros.
A viewing will be held, Saturday, April 6 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. in the Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 S. Bluff St., St. George, UT. Another viewing, Funeral services and interment will be held in Monrovia, California on Tuesday, April 9 at 10:00 a.m. in the Turner & Stevens Live Oak Mortuary, 200 East Duarte Rd.
