Sharon Alene Iverson Hunt

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Sharon Alene Iverson Hunt, returned to her heavenly home Friday, November 29, 2013. Sharon was born in St. George, Utah on April 11, 1941, the youngest child of Victor Moses Iverson and Leoma McCain Iverson. On December 23, 1958 she married her sweetheart and eternal companion, M. Jay Hunt, in the St. George, Utah, Temple. Sharon loved her family, her heritage, the Lord and the gospel. She was a poet and an artist, but her most cherished role was that of wife, mother, and grandmother. Her home was the center of activity for her children and their friends. She unofficially adopted exchange students and foster children as her own. Her love expanded to include every daughter- and son-in-law and grandchild-in-law who joined the family. She will be missed, but her legacy lives on through all of us. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Leoma, siblings Berniece, Marie Waite, Grant, and Levi "Bud", daughter Brenda, and 4 grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Jay, brothers Keith and Archie, children Brad (Stana), Scott (Cindy), Anette (Ryan) Bauer, Brice (Audrey), Colby (Rusty), Edward (Rosina), 28 grandchildren (plus 8 spouses of grandchildren), and 21 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, December 6, 2013, at the LDS church house on 451 E. Midvalley Rd. in Enoch. There will be a viewing at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Enterprise City Cemetery

Services are under the direction of Heideman Hughes Mortuary. (435)674-5000.
