OUR BELOVED FATHER, GRANDFATHER, BROTHER, AND UNCLE, THOMAS FLOYD FJERMESTAD, 67, PASSED AWAY, APRIL 15, 2014, IN HIS HOME, IN HURRICANE, UT. TOM WAS BORN JUNE 16, 1946 IN FAIRBAULT, MN TO JOANNE AND FLOYD FJERMESTAD.

HE GRADUATED FROM WINNEBAGO HIGH SCHOOL IN MINNESOTA AND ENTHUSIATICALLY JOINED THE NAVY. HE LATER MARRIED HIS LOVE CONNIE CARTER ON SEPTEMBER 5, 1973. THEY HAD 6 EXUBERANT CHILDREN.

OUR DEVOTED TOM DEDICATED HIS LIFE TO SERVING THE COMMUNITY AS A POLICE OFFICER FOR THE ST. GEORGE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AS AN EMT IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM. HE LOVED HIS JOB AND TOOK PRIDE IN HIS WORK. HE LOVED HUNTING, FISHING, PLAYING SOFTBALL WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS, POKER, AND HAMBURGERS. WE MAY HAVE LOST A GUARDIAN ON EARTH, BUT GAINED A GUARDIAN ANGEL.

TOM IS SURVIVED BY HIS SISTER DAWN SIDWELL OF MIDVALE, HIS CHILDREN JASON (JAELIN), ERIC, ANGELA, SONNY, TRISHA, AMANDA, AND STEP-CHILDREN CORY (KIM), AND TROY (SHELI) CASERTA, AND THEIR FAMILIES.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, APRIL 26, 2014, AT 11:00 A.M. AT THE LDS COLONIAL CHAPEL, 700 W 1500 S HURRICANE, UT.
