Carol Kemp Tobler, 80, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on April 2, 2013. She was born on August 5, 1932 in St. George, Utah to William Arthur and Wilma Lorine Higbee Kemp. She married Fenton Lee Tobler for time and all eternity on December 27, 1950 and together they had five children. Carol was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved her Savior and emulated Him through selfless service to her family and friends all the days of her life. She made motherhood her career and was a wonderful homemaker, cook and seamstress. She delighted in creating an atmosphere of elegance and beauty in her home, which included many beautiful items of her own making. She loved celebrating holidays and birthdays and made each one extra special. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Fenton Lee Tobler and her children, Nanette Potter, Kathlene (Dalby) Shirley, Howard (Dianne) Tobler, Susan (Jeff) Bowers and Jeff (Neshia) Tobler; 19 grandchildren, 35 great- grandchildren and three sisters, Gwendolyn (Victor) Frei, Karma (Jack) Wasden and Ellen (Gary) Cameron. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; sister, Gloria Bowler; son-in-law, Dan Potter; grandson, Micah Potter and great grandson, Jared Winder. A viewing will be held at the LDS church, 3300 N. Buffalo in Las Vegas from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 at the same location with a viewing prior to the services from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Interment will occur in Santa Clara, Utah. Graveside services will be 4:30 p.m. Utah time.
