"Together Forever"
St. George, Utah. Perry Devon Jensen, 91, passed away peacefully from this life on February 25, 2013. He was born March 11, 1921 in Fountain Green, Utah to William Jensen and Viola Draper. He married Bonnie Jean Wooters on Feb. 23, 1945. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Nov. 8, 1955.
Perry was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served in several capacities throughout his life. He had a firm testimony of Jesus Christ and instilled his love of the gospel in his children and grandchildren.
Besides playing semi-pro baseball for the San Francisco Seals and boxing in the Golden Gloves arena, Perry was a decorated war veteran and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in 1953, for one of over 100 missions flown in the Korean conflict as a Marine pilot. He retired holding the rank of Major.
He enjoyed the game of golf and could be found every Saturday morning teeing off with some of his wartime buddies at the El Toro Marine Base course in Santa Ana, Calif. Perry spent many years working in logistics for various air defense companies including Boeing, Lockheed, and Ford Aeronautics division. Upon retiring he and Bonnie moved to Grand Jct. Colo. where they could help with Bonnie's mother. He loved his family and being with them more than anything in life. He always looked forward to the next baby to be born in the family. He was always so proud of his boys and their achievements as they matured. It made him feel alive and so we celebrate a life well lived.
Perry is survived by his four sons Gregg (Lee), Gordon (Bonnie), Gary (Wendy), Bruce (Katy); 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Beth Drury, Luana Renfro, Larue Fishler; and brother
Owen. Perry is preceded in death by Bonnie, his loving wife of 65 years, and four siblings.
A special thanks goes out to Dr. Grace Paradela, all of the new friends and staff at Sterling Court for their Love and support and the Beehive Homes Southgate staff for making him feel at home, he really loved all of you girls.

Dear Cousins,
What a wonderful family we have been blessed to be a part of. We loved Uncle Perry so much, he was a great guy and will be missed, but know he is having a great reunion with Aunt Bonnie, our Dad Ray and the rest of family who greeted him. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time.
Love, Sharlene and Barry Buckner
