Our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, Russel Gene Lee, age 65, passed away on November 28, 2013. He was born on July 3, 1948 in Durango, Colorado to Wallace Raymond and Ione Slade Lee. Russel graduated from Durango High School before serving in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Russel was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he especially loved serving in Primary. He was an avid golfer, hiker, and bicyclist and worked for 32 years at La Plata Electric besides serving on the Pagosa School Board.

Russel is survived by his wife Carma Lee Kersavage Lee of Cedar City, Utah. His children; Jennifer Lee of Pagosa Springs, CO, Michelle Lee of Pagosa Springs, CO, Dena (Dave) Albue of Denver, CO, Brady Lee of Pagosa Springs, CO, Lonnie (JJ) Moody of Albuquerque, NM, and Lavona (Aaron) Montgomery of Johnstown, PA. His sisters; Diana Thimmes, Sheryl Willis, Barbara Harris, Shawna Azbill, Janette Harris and Cindy Whittaker. Along with 11 wonderful grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Ione Slade. His brother Wallace Lee Jr. and daughter Jayme Lee.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Indian Hills Ward located at 1120 West Greens Lake Drive, Cedar City, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 am at the Church. Interment will be in the Red Mesa Cemetery on Thursday, December 5, 2013 in Red Mesa, Colorado.
