The family of Jeffery Lane Hardy is saddened by the untimely death of their loved one. A more gentle, kindhearted soul you will never meet. He made friends everywhere he went and to anyone he saw. He passed away in Cedar City, Utah on February 15, 2013.
In 1984 Jeff married Katherine Hysell in Pocatello, Idaho and they were blessed with a beautiful little girl named Chessie, whom he adores. They were later divorced. Jeff met his soul mate Adrienne Anderson in 1998 and together they raised a son, Adam Anderson.
Jeff had many artistic talents, including music and stone work, giving away freely samples of his workmanship and talent. Attending high school he was a very gifted athlete excelling in different sport activities. His favorite past time was fishing and hunting with his family and friends who will greatly miss him. At the time of death he was employed by Gen Pak in Cedar City.
Jeff is survived by his wife Adrienne Anderson; children Chessie Lane Hardy (Pocatello, ID) and Adam Anderson (Cedar City, UT); parents Rulon J. Hardy (Judy) of Milford, UT and Dixie Sylvester (Gary) of Boulder City, NV; his brother Brent Hardy (Angie) of Milford, UT; sisters Jennifer Cooney of Beaver, UT; Patricia Rowsey of Henderson, NV; and Barbara French (Charles) of Henderson, NV; sister-in-law Teresa Hardy of Fillmore, UT; one grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother David J. Hardy; his grandparents Lorin and Lucille Golf; David Hardy, Ida Randall Hardy Beitz and Jerry Beitz
Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at the LDS Church in Milford, UT. Visitation will be held prior from 11:00 am-12:30 pm at the church. Interment will be in the Milford Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be sent to www.sumortuary.com.
